Budgeted & Actual Compensation and Benefits

Listed below under each year’s link are Budgeted & Actual Employee Compensation and Benefits for all employees (includes City and Library employees).

**NOTE:  The Budget compensation and benefits is posted after the budget is completed.  The Actual compensation and benefits is posted after the close of the fiscal year and when the data is available (by June following the end of the fiscal year)

On August 26, 2011, Governor Pat Quinn signed Senate Bill 1831 (Public Act 97-0609). This
law makes several changes to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) statute and amends
the Open Meetings Act (Public Act 97-0609 Compliance).

PA 97-0609 requires that an employer participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund
(IMRF) is required to make available a list of all employees that are expected (as shown in
each year’s budget) to receive compensation greater than $75,000. This list must be available
six business days after a budget is approved.

The City of Rolling Meadows takes this compliance one step further and reports this budgeted
data by all employees. In addition, the City reports actual data for employee compensation and benefits after the fiscal year closes which shows in a separate tab called Actual Compensation and Benefits.
