The inspectors will be doing a property maintenance and safety inspection. Some of the areas they will be inspecting include checking to see that the smoke detectors are in working order and that the electrical panel is labeled.Community Development - Rental Dwelling Program
They will also be assuring that there are no broken windows or leaky plumbing fixtures and they will be checking to see that there is no overcrowding of the unit. The inspectors are assuring that the property is being maintained in a safe and sanitary manner and both exterior and interior areas will be inspected. -

No. The City does not permit residential properties to be used for short term rentals, such as AirBnB or similar services. Residential rental properties must be leased for a minimum of 30 days to be compliant with the City's rental permitting regulations.
