To home owners participating in trick-or-treating. 

1. Please put your front porch and/or garage lights on to clarify you are participating. 
2. Hand out only individually wrapped, store-bought goodies. 

Trick or treater safety tips

1. Wear a safe costume that provides visibility, ventilation, and adequate vision for the wearer.
2. Only accept and eat store bought, individually wrapped treats.
3. Don't go it alone, trick-or-treat with an adult at all times.
4. Stay on sidewalks when possible and look both ways before crossing a street at a designated crossing.
5. Carry a flashlight or glowsticks to provide extra visibility after dusk.
6. Avoid houses that are dark.
