Project Information

The work to be performed consists of removal of existing bridge superstructure, channel excavation and rip rap stabilization, placement of precast prestressed deck beams, concrete wearing surface, parapet walls, form liner abutment wall textured facing, approach pavement removal and replacement, guardrail replacement, and landscape restoration.

Weekly Project Updates

Update as 06/20/19: Full closure of Barker Avenue at Salt Creek started June 10, 2019.  Follow posted detour route when closure is in effect.  Demolition and removal of existing bridge superstructure completed last week.  Cofferdam installation, channel excavation and scour protection installation to be completed by the end of this week.
