The work includes the construction of approximately 2,060 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main installation, approximately 160 feet of 6-inch water service lines, valves, vaults, fire hydrants, pavement patching, concrete sidewalk removal and replacement, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, restoration, and all other incidental work.
The project starts at the entrance to Arbor Drive from Algonquin Road, then east and south approximately 2, 060 feet, ending near the retaining wall for the I-53 ramp

Work This Week:
This week the City’s contractor, Patnick Construction, will continue working along the east leg of Arbor Drive in front of the parking lot of the apartments. The Contractor will be placing “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” signs north and south of the work area while working. The public is urged to use alternative routes to avoid the construction work to avoid delays.
Work Next Week:
Water service connections may be done along the north leg of Arbor Drive in front of the commercial properties, resulting in temporary water service interruption. Properties include 3985, 3989, 3991, 3993, 3995, 4001, 4003, 4005, 4007, 4009, 4015, 4023, and 4025 Algonquin Road. At least 24-hour notice will be provided to the properties prior to the service interruption. Additional properties with service connections in coming weeks include 3975 Algonquin Road, and 4732, 4734, 4736, and 4738 Arbor Drive.
