The work includes the construction of approximately 2,060 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main installation, approximately 160 feet of 6-inch water service lines, valves, vaults, fire hydrants, pavement patching, concrete sidewalk removal and replacement, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, restoration, and all other incidental work.
The project starts at the entrance to Arbor Drive from Algonquin Road, then east and south approximately 2, 060 feet, ending near the retaining wall for the I-53 ramp
Update as of 08/22/19:
No work is scheduled for next week. Final landscape restoration will begin after September 1st and will be complete by September 13th. The City wishes to thank the business owners, patrons, and local residents for their patience and cooperation during this important public improvement project.
The City is currently in the planning stages for the second phase of the Arbor Drive Water Main Replacement Project, which is proposed to be constructed in 2020. This project will continue from where this year’s improvement ended, and will be primarily located along south end of Arbor Drive where the road runs parallel to I-90.
