Ruse Entry Burglaries

On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 12, 2008, two burglaries occurred, one on Lincoln Avenue and the other on Dove Street. In each incident, a male Hispanic, 25-30 years of age, showed up at the victim's house saying he was there to investigate the quality of the tap water. The offender was allowed in and then distracted the victim while accomplices entered quietly and went throughout the house stealing jewelry. The victims in these crimes didn't know that their belongings were missing until after the offenders were long gone.
