The 9-1-1 Center

Rolling Meadows operates its own Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and it's referred to as the 911 Center. 

The 911 Center is located on the third floor in the Municipal Building located at 3600 Kirchoff Road. 

There are three positions in the center. The closest position is labeled POLICE, the second position farthest away is called FIRE, and the third position is a SUPERVISOR'S position. 

Each position is redundant in that it can perform any function the other two positions can. Each is set up identically so the dispatcher can move from position to position without relearning functions.

All 911 calls for service requiring a police officer, fire engine or ambulance for the City of Rolling Meadows are answered here.  Rolling Meadows is not part of the Northwest Central Dispatch System, which serves the communities surrounding Rolling Meadows.
